Tomorrow is the big day!

FINALLY! phew!
My last onesie for a while. I had another stack of onesies to do before the craft fair, but when I looked at them yesterday I just wasn't feeling it. I need to be into what I'm doing otherwise it turns out looking terrible and sloppy. I don't put out sloppy work!

My mom asked me to make her a gift for a baby shower she is going to in a few weeks. This little boy will be ready  for camping! (yes, I made two moose. I think they are cute)

This was all I got done today. :(  The binder is for people to look through to purchase my patterns and the cds have the patterns on them. Those have been a lot of work. They are costing me about 60 cents each to make too. That's not including the labels I was given by my awesome friend. She has been such a help to me for this craft fair! THANK YOU KATE! I printed each envelope with my business card and each label had to be designed and printed off and stuck on to the cd. The burning part is taking me hours! Oh how I would love a new computer. The actual buring of the cds is quick. It's the imputing new information with EACH cd. It's dumb. And after I get one pattern all burnt off and am ready to start on the next one, my computer won't let me. I have to restart my computer each time and it works fine after that. such a pain in my butt! Because of all this, You might notice my posting time. 3:30 a.m. I'm so stinking tired right now. My daughter even woke up once and I was in with her for a while. Last night I was up till 3 too. this week has killed me. I hope to be done in the next ten min and I'll hopefully finish tomorrow. sorry for whining. :) I really hope my hard work pays off. or pays something.

So much to do, so little time.

I have been working on these doll diapers, bibs and burp rags for a while now. I did each one in stages and it seemed to take SOOOOOO long. sigh. so glad they are done. I feel like for all the time I put into these there isn't much to show for it. Cute though! I just hope people will buy them.

These are a few crayon rolls I finished to sell. Around here it is impossible to find the JUMBO crayons. I'll have to pick some up at Walmart when I go to town.

The one on the bottom is just for regular crayons.

Working my fingers to the bone this week!

DOLLY DIAPER BAGS:

This Dolly diaper bag has been sold. It turned out way cute I think! I did not use interfacing on the lining like I did for the other bags shown here however becuase I ran out.

This next bag I made for my daughter. We need one to keep with her dad at work so when we go visit we don't have to haul all her toys with us to a different state every time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

These next bags are ones that will be for sale at the craft fair. If they don't sell there I'll sell them online. If you would like to purchase one of these before the craft fair let me know. They come with two diapers each and a changing pad. I used interfacing on the entire lining of these so they are more sturdy and lay down better. Each bag has one outside back pocket, one outside side pocket for a bottle and two pockets inside. Little girls love these! I wish they weren't so time consuming and tedious to make or every girl I knew would have one by now. :)

Things for my little stink bug

For Keira's Easter Basket I bought some Alex toys stringing beads and made a zipper pouch to keep them in and cary in my diaper bag.
Yes it's blue fabric probably meant for a boy, but It works just fine and I always loved blue when I was younger. PLUS I used a pink zipper!! :) I made this using a tutorial online I found. This is now the 3rd zipper i've ever done. I think i'm getting the hang of it! :)

Inside is cute fabric that says Neigh Moo Oink Cheep etc. I lined the lining and outside with interfacing. I figure with stuff that is going to get used, do it sturdy the first time and you will never have to make a replacement. :)

The next pictures are of shirts I made for her.
The hippos again. This is a bigger size and it was much faster this time. I think I went a little overboard on the buttons. :) oh well!

The apple I did on the onesies. I just love the apple!
I always say Keira is my little mermaid because she loves the water.  Bath, swimming and of course... the toilet. GAG! This applique was done a little different that the others I've done mostly because of the finished outside edges. I normally do a different stitch but I wanted it to all look the same. She loves this mermaid! it's like a doll on a shirt! This one took me all day it seemed. I also cut the only sketch I made of it up in the process of cutting fabric pieces. Dang! that wasn't very smart! I figure if I need to make a different one i'll figure something out!

Now I'm stressing out because as of today I have a week left to get ready for the craft fair. I still have so much to do! I guess I could have waited to do my little girl's stuff for later, but I kinda figure she comes first! :) My other problem is that when I sew I neglect things like the dishes and folding laundry. My sewing stuff is spread from one end of the house to the other. What i'd give for a sewing room! I need a maid!

Still plugging away

This is another onesie to sell at the craft fair.

These cute bunny slippers I made for Keira's easter basket. I wanted to get them out of the way so that when Easter comes I'm not kicking myself for not getting them done. I used a pattern I did a trade for on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/68451770/new-pdf-pattern-bunny-slippers-size-12  I added a casing for the elastic strap behind the ears rather than having the elastic show. I also did something different when it came to lining the shoes. I didn't want seams to show so I did the lining sole seperate from the outer sole. I left a hole in the lining to turn the whole slipper inside out. I also added a cute tail on them. They fit her but with Her patterns, they are too short on the heel and don't stay on well. I'm a little disappointed in the pattern but for a trade I'm pretty content.

My project for the day

This is another onesie for the craft fair. It took a long time to do but it turned out cute I think. :) Hungry Hungry Hippos!

Getting ready for my first craft fair

Just a few things I've finished so far. MORE TO COME! when I get more onesies I'll be doing other desings. The little man ties are only attatched at the top and hang like a big boy tie. Cute!
