Why does sewing keep me sane?

Hello everyone! I'm a stay at home mom and I love it, but sometimes the day to day Temper tantrums, diaper changes, feeding and no matter how much I clean I still have a mess everywhere I go can really get to me. My daughters' wants and needs come before mine because that is what you do as a mom. A while ago I realized I didn't really do anything that I used to before I became a wife and mother. I used to go dancing, always had a clean place, I sang all the time and I used to be fun. Yes, believe it or not, I USED TO BE FUN!!! It was really sad for me to realized that being a mom I gave up so much, so that day I decided I needed to do something for me. I started sewing again! It had been years since I really did anything with it and I wasn't very good. One day I saw a tutorial on how to make a too short pair of jeans into a little skirt for my daughter. I was terrified to try but once I did, I started getting more and more brave. Now I can't stop! I LOVE TO SEW! It's a little addicting. You run into cute ideas everywhere and start buying fabric and keep buying fabric... and MORE fabric. Anyway, I sew because I love it, but it started out because without it, my life just gets dull and boring and I would feel unfulfilled sometimes. So... I sew to keep sane. :)
