In the pattern it calls for ribbon on the the end of the elastic you string through the whole casing. I chose to not do that step and just keep my elastic extra long. I just tied it in a bow and tucked in up under. it works great!!! Plus, if my kids see something dangling down... it just begs to be pulled on!
